YOU AND I BOTH KNOW THAT GUESSING OUR WAY THROUGH PARENTING DOESN'T WORK

Does that stop us from trying over and over? NO.

We waste so much time chasing the dream. The dream of one day our children waking up and deciding they want to show up to life as their best selves.

We go from book to book, hoping for that perfect miracle, a magic pill or secret trick.

We live in FEAR of whether or not we are parenting our children correctly.

One minute, we are all angry that our children aren’t listening to us, and the next minute we’re feeling bad that we said something hurtful to get them to cooperate.

And if that isn’t mentally exhausting enough……

We tell ourselves that we failed as parents. For yelling again. For using another unmotivating strategy. 

THERE’S A BETTER WAY. I KNOW BECAUSE I FOUND IT.

I SPEAK STRAIGHT TO MY CHILDREN’S SOULS SO THEY CAN SHOW UP TO LIFE AS WHO THEY WERE REALLY INTENDED TO BE. 

 ME 15 YEARS AGO: Lost and overwhelmed, going to sleep every night feeling bad that I was making the same mistakes over and over, trying every strategy I ever learned, but still in the dark about how to reach my own children. That was my normal.

Even though I had already been a highly successful classroom teacher of children with behavioral and emotional challenges for 10 years, I was new to being a mother, and like most new moms I didn’t know how to reach my own children. I was even a behavioral therapist that had much success with other people’s children. But not my own. Not YET.

I wanted to end this guessing game. I didn’t know how I was going to become an amazing parent, but I wanted to figure it out. And I did. 

 It was at that moment that I realized that children are NOT problems. They are Divine creations with unique potential, and it was my job to interact with them in ways that help them see that.

That understanding was the catalyst for my SOUL THEORY Aproach. 

ME TODAY: I no longer use dry behavioral techniques, I now use them only in the context of speaking straight to children’s souls. And this is what I found:

Every child CAN thrive.

EVERY child has special contributions to make in this world.

EVERY child can and wants to be kind and cooperative.

And of course, EVERY parent is capable of setting effective and healthy limits.

There are no exceptions to these rules. Never. Ever. 

Since I started freeing up my own children to be their real selves, I’ve taught thousands of moms to do the same.
